Rest is not equated to simply going out, doing some shopping and knowing that you have exhausted your cash or credit the next day. It is not getting yourself in a deep slumber and forgetting all about the responsibilities waiting. Rest is giving the spirit some lift- to add to the drive, the energy, the capability to continue. Rest is this:
R-elax, get yourself some relief, de-stress, refresh!
E-mbrace inner silence, pray, experience a different world, dance!
S-ee to it, that after doing so- you feel more beautiful, you become more confident, you are ready again
T-o dream higher, act better, and live happier TODAY!
REST IS A MUST.

Wow. Thanks Alpha and Manang Ria for the photo. I truly love Apong- kahit sa pic ko lang siya nakilala!
You are welcome ading!
Well said Beuna – we need to re charge ALL of the batteries from time to time.
Thank you Stuart! That is so true
Rest is vital for the mind, body and soul. . .we all have a tendency to forget the importance of simple rest!
Thank you for always adding some beauty to our posts Sharla! Your words are priceless wisdom as well!
Nice peaceful, and relaxing words…but what if one can’t find the time to rest? I am a single Dad and also am disabled, but am doing a terrific job of raising anak ko at that is because we have such a strong familial love for one another. Miss na miss sa Pinas!
Hi Steve! thank you so much for your participation in here- I really appreciate it! Didn’t that moment of writing your thoughts relax you a bit?
whatever that state you are in, i know you are blessed just by having your child and loving family.. just the thought of them fills you the time to rest, isn’t it? I hope you can visit Pilipinas soon!
Salamat sa reply buena. I am always at my most restful stage while reading the Bible or writing and I have come to appreciate my oneness… Stephanie, my daughter does fill me with a love greater than any I’ve ever known. I hope to semi-retire in your land as soon as next year, 2013.
