Well, everything! Accept that you woke up late and will now get a lecture from your boss. Accept that the economy is making it harder to make ends meet. Accept that your team aren’t going to win the league, or competition, or game. Accept that you might have to learn new skills in order for you to reach your goals. Accept that the person you’re crazy about pays you no attention. Accept that your childhood wasn’t as great as some people you know. Accept that you weren’t born with a silver spoon in your mouth. Accept that you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. Accept that you may not be able to run the fastest, jump the highest, throw the furthest.
Accepting doesn’t mean you can’t change things. It means sometimes things won’t change and you have to be ok with that. When something is unchangeable and you don’t accept it, it’ll eat away at you until there’s nothing left.
When you get to a place of acceptance you will feel a whole lot more relaxed. A whole lot less frustrated, angry or helpless. You will feel a huge weight lift off your shoulders. So look at your circumstances today and consider what you can accept.
