Do Something Daring

Wow, can you do that? Can you be daring? When was the last time you
did anything daring? OK, stop worrying, this can be as big or as small
as you want it to be. Maybe you’ll ask someone on a date – oooh,
that’s a pretty big one! Or maybe you’ll take a two-hour lunch break.
You rebel!

Whatever it is, do it today – remember when you get to the end of your
life you’re more likely to regret the things you DIDN’T do. Make today
a day of no regrets.

Ask yourself during today: ‘What do I do that’s daring?’

Then ask: ‘What could I do that would BE daring?’

Then do it.

Hi Stu! This is certainly a challenge to a lot of us. Few people will do something daring- because yes, it will cost them something or make them face some cons- and oftentimes cons that are not really approving of the act.
In my early year of teaching high school students, I conducted an “under-the-tree literature experience”,which is not usual in the school set-up. Some teachers frowned at the idea, disagreed, and it got a little close to disapproval. You know what- I even shed tears for it. But my students were excited about it, because I oriented them of the probable beauty of a revolutionary style (they just have to experience it!).
This I learned- when you have those five-letter word, FAITH, you will dare. And as long as intentions are pure, you will see the wonders of risking for it. Daring something unconventional that proposes a beautiful change does make sense.
    Kudos to you!

Beautiful anectdote Beuna, that’s exactly the type of daring I was talking about. It’s not so much about succeeding, but rather challenging yourself, challenging the status quo etc. Good for you! :)
