Take the opportunity today to accept help.
Only when we are able to accept help for ourselves are we truly able to offer help to someone else. It sounds obvious but we can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped. Unless they are ready to be helped there’s nothing anyone can do. Heighten your awareness to this by accepting help yourself.
Practise this and you’ll find how and where you are resistant to it, you’ll become aware of the signs and possibly the reasons why in some circumstances you don’t want help. From that standpoint you will more readily notice those signs in others. This will help you decide when to push and when to hold back.
Sometimes it’s those that need help the most that are the most resistant to it.
