Day 6 – Nurture your Dream

In order for us to continue getting what we desire to have, we must keep on nurturing it. Para bang yung halaman (It’s like the plants). Pag nagtanim ka (If you plant), you must really tend to the plant so that it will not die. You must water the plant everyday, put some fertilizer, keep it under the sun and maybe transfer from the small pot into a bigger one once it has reached its desired height. If you miss doing one of these, there will be a great chance that it will not thrive.
Just like your Dreams.
Think about this Poem titled, “Harlem” by Langston Hughes:

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore—
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over—
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

So, continue to nurture your dreams. Let it thrive! Take care of your dreams, and it will soon take care of you!
